In order to explore Xinjiang natural plant resources, promote people revaluating and protecting the diverse natural plants, and serve the western development and ecological environment protection, the ecological civilization photo series, The Plant World has been published by Xinjiang Youth Press, which is chiefly edited by Prof. Yin Linke, from Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography.

 In photo series, the authors presented various and gorgeous natural plants that grow on the great Tianshan Mountains, in the vast deserts and grasslands, along the banks of cross rivers and lakes.

The book is not only different from the botanic monographs, but also different from general scenery brochures, which is a precious popular scientific book that integrates science, knowledge and enjoy.
