| Luo Geping, male, born in April of 1968, a native of Hunan province, Han nationality, a Ph D. He graduated from Xinjiang University in 1988 majoring in physical geography; in 1991, he graduated from the Geography Institute under the CAS with a degree of Master of Science; in 2002 he graduated from the Institute of Geographic Science and Resource Research under the CAS with a degree of Doctor of Science, majored in cartography and geographic information system. From 1991 up to now he has been working at the Institute and now is research fellow, member of degree evaluation committee and doctoral/master tutor of the Institute. In 1995 he was appointed associate research fellow and in 2005 promoted to research fellow, mainly engaged in the researches on land change, resources and environment in the arid zone and application of remote sensing and geographic information system. |
