　　Main Progress Results:

　　The sub-project in Xinjiang explored to develop eco-industries through its implmentation, to increase the income of the managers of main streams as well as farmers by improving their scientific and technological quality and production capacity, and to serve as the model for balanced and sustainable development between human beings and environment in the western region of China, especially in the arid and semi-arid region. The total funds for this project are 1.2 million USD with project period from the year 2007 to 2010.
