The experts from the Republic of Kirghizstan visited Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences

　　Academician Д. Mamatkanov, Director of Institute of Water and Hydraulic Issues, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kirghizstan, and another expert visited our institute on April 2, 2009, they and Director Chen of our institute had a discussion and exchange on the matters concerning the cooperative scientific research. Both sides expressed to cooperate in aspects of jointly building hydrological stations, researching on evolution of lakes in Central Asia, exchange of visiting scholars and graduate students, etc. by fully using the funds of Scientific Research Foundation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization based on the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
