The 6th China Eco-hydrology Forum & 2026 Annual Meeting of the Eco-hydrology Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China Convened in Yining

From August 19 to 21, the 6th China Eco-hydrology Forum & 2026 Annual Meeting of the Eco-hydrology Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China was held in Yining, Xinjiang.

The event was jointly organized by the Eco-hydrology Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China; Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Yili Normal University; and Xinjiang Normal University.

Under the theme “Frontiers and Challenges in Eco-hydrology Driven by Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development”, the forum attracted more than 500 participants, including experts, researchers, and graduate students from across China.

The forum featured 10 keynote presentations, along with 13 parallel sessions and a dedicated graduate student forum, comprising a total of 184 thematic presentations and 80 graduate student presentations.These contributions collectively showcased the latest advances in ecohydrological theory, methodology, technology, and application within China.
