Center for Major Science Facilities and Infrastructure under Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography

Center for Major Science Facilities and Infrastructure of Xinjiang Institute of ecology and geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences is a unified technical support system，which combines the superior disciplines and fields of the institute and integrates the existing technical conditions, the central laboratory, field stations and key laboratory. 

The center is formed on the principle of sharing equipments and data. The total value of the center's existing equipments is more than 56.4965 million yuan. The center is important for carrying out alaysis and testing for basic and applied studies, which are very beneficial for the development of high-level talents. 

The center is also a window for the institute to communicate with foreign countries and promote the progress of science and technology. It is an important part of the institute for oasis agriculture, desert oasis ecological and environmental evolution, ecological restoration, resources development, utilization and regional development, biodiversity conservation, the development and utilization of earth observation, space and system simulation, and other research fields.
