A graduate student of Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography won festively a first award of a paper at Xinjiang Seventh Youth Academic Annual Symposium

Good news from the Xinjiang Seventh Youth Academic Annual Symposium and Second Doctoral Students’ Forum said that Yang Yu, a graduate student of Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, won a first award of youth academic papers, and Chen Xia won a second award.
It was reported that more than 300 papers written by the youth scientific and technological working personnel in fields of natural science, industry, agriculture, medicine and interdisciplines in Xinjiang were receipted at the annual symposium, and more than 500 youth scientific and technological working personnel attended the annual symposium. The electronic edition of the memoir was published in public for the first time at the annual symposium, and 248 papers were embodied, in which 32 papers were outstanding. After appraised and approved by the Expert Committee of the annual symposium, 4, 6 and 12 persons won the first, second and third awards respectively.
Wang Lequan, member of the Political Bureau of Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Secretary of the Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech, he was on the tiptoe of expectation to the vast youth scientific and technological working personnel in Xinjiang to firm their confidence, find out the solutions of the difficulties, shoulder consciously the mission, and make every effort to create the glary outstanding achievements being worthy of the times and of the people in the great processes of reform and opening to the outside world and the modernization construction in Xinjiang.
