Journal of Arid Land Selected for Scopus

On January 8, 2013, by searching the lists of journal titles from the website of Scopus and Society of China University Journals, the editorial office of Journal of Arid Land (JAL) has confirmed that JAL has been selected for Scopus. Now, Scopus is the ninth international database that includes JAL.　 

Scopus, officially named SciVerse Scopus, is a bibiographic database containing abstracts and citations for academic journal articles. It covers nearly 20,500 titles from over 5,000 international publishers, of which 19,500 are peer-reviewed journals (including 1,900 Open Access journals) in the scientific, technical, medical, and social sciences (including arts and humanities). Scopus is owned by Elsevier and is available online by subscription. Scopus offers researchers a quick, easy and comprehensive resource to support their research needs in the scientific, technical, medical and social sciences fields and arts and humanities.
