Call for Application: The 6th conference “Management of Ecosystems and Environmental Changes in Arid Lands”（MEECAL）in Urumqi, China

The 6th conference “Management of Ecosystems and Environmental Changes in Arid Lands” （MEECAL）will take place in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China from 29th, July to 31st, July, 2019. The conference will include diverse scientific sessions talking about the impact of climate change to arid lands, impact of human activities to arid lands, environmental processes, mitigation of climate change, water resources management in arid lands, ecosystem management and biodiversity in arid lands, sustainable management of ecosystem and socio-economy in arid lands.

The conference will be organized by the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography (XIEG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China; The Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Technische Universitat München, Germany.

The preliminary program is as follows:
