Theme: Resilient Earth: Water, Ecosystems and Sustainable Development
The Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography (XIEG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)in collaboration with University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) and the Sino-Africa Joint Research Center (SAJOREC), CAS will hold the 7th Annual International Conference on Environment, Energy and Development (ICEED) on July 21 to 24, 2026 at Kigali, Rwanda.
ICEED 2026 invites original research papersand practice-oriented contributions that advance actionable solutions to pressing challenges in water security, ecosystem restoration, and climate-resilient development across local, regional, and global scales.
ICEED 2026 provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, engineers, policymakers, NGOs, and practitioners to present latest advances, innovations, and applications.
Conference Objectives
- To disseminate the latest research findings, technological advancements, and policy frameworks related to climate change, adaptation, and environmental sustainability.
- To showcase innovative solutions and technologies that address climate change challenges and promote environmental sustainability
- To foster partnerships and collaborations among academia, industry, government agencies, and civil society to translate knowledge into practice.
